What type of volume does your facility support? How does this help me?
A week in the life of our facility
New England Homes currently produces nine homes per week and ships approximately 28 homes per month – and no two homes are exactly alike. The Company’s crew transports the home to the homeowner’s site and it is set on the already prepared foundation. Homeowners then have a customized home that reflects their personal taste and lifestyle. Most homes arrive at the owner’s site 80-85% complete. Customers have a wide array of home design options to choose from, in addition to the capability to custom-design their modular home down to the most intricate architectural details.
Power in volume buying
The Company’s ability to leverage its volume purchasing power with vendors has resulted in numerous efficiencies and strong margins. Managed by a stable and sophisticated management team, the Company’s success is reflected in years of rising net sales and robust profitability. In addition to its in-house quality control staff, New England Homes uses a state approved, independent third party inspection agency to inspect the homes in various production stages. The Company is a member of the second largest building materials buying group in the US, which give it the ability to make direct purchases from manufacturers at favorable prices. Volume purchases give the Company the ability to turn over its raw inventory approximately eight times per year. A highly competitive pricing structure as compared with traditional home building offers advantages to the independent builder, as well as greater affordability for many budget-conscious homebuyers. A lack of cost overruns for the independent builder provides a highly valued feather for lenders as well as consumers.
